Meet Dr. Eric Hollensbe

Dr. Hollensbe’s journey into orthodontics began in high school, when his mom encouraged him to shadow his orthodontist. He loved the blend of science, creativity, and problem-solving, and was inspired by the impact orthodontic care can have on confidence and quality of life. That experience led him to pursue dentistry and ultimately discover that orthodontics was where he felt most fulfilled.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University, followed by his dental degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. After practicing as a general dentist for two years, Dr. Hollensbe realized orthodontics was his true passion and returned for specialty training. He completed his orthodontic residency and earned a master’s degree in Oral Biology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.

For Dr. Hollensbe, great orthodontic care starts with listening. He believes patients should feel heard, understood, and confident in their treatment plan. He enjoys getting to know each patient and seeing how a confident smile can positively impact everyday life.

Outside of the office, Dr. Hollensbe enjoys golfing, hiking, cooking, and cheering on the Boston Bruins. He is also a dedicated Eagle Scout and enjoys hands-on projects; he even built an electric guitar by hand while in school, though he admits playing it is still a work in progress. He also enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Anya, and her young daughter. Anya is a native of Wichita and is also an orthodontist!
